It has been a day, you guys. A. DAY. Poor Cormac got toted around on all manor of errand, including 2.5 hours worth of dental appointments. Good thing we have nice dental receptionists! But let’s back the truck up for a moment. Before all that crud, we actually had a pretty awesome weekend.
We went to the zoo, where we rode carousels and tractors.
We saw the farm animals, and oh my gosh, guys, my son is legit adorable. Said totally without bias. Working on vocabulary at home, we’ve always made it a point to say “Hi” and wave to Larry and Lucy every day. And now whenever Cormac sees animals, like dogs, goats, whatever, he automatically smiles and waves at them. I think it is too freaking adorable.
Anyway, we also hung out in parks and ate fried chicken.
Oh, and we gorged on peaches. Cormac had his straight up, while I enjoyed mine in slightly more adult form.
I made this with bourbon and it was amazeballs.
And then in an attempt to recover from fried chicken and cocktails, I made this Mediterranean pasta toss.
AND Brent is almost done with the fence!
All in all, a pretty amazing Labor Day weekend.
